Corporate & Tax Structure

The Foundation is a not for profit corporation incorporated in the District of Columbia and has obtained designation from the IRS as an organization exempt from tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. As such, financial accountability is paramount to its operation. The Foundation will seek to fund its operations through securing grants, soliciting funds within the case management community, and with other various fundraising activities. The goal of the Foundation is to keep fundraising costs at or under twenty-five percent (25%) of the Foundation's total operating costs.
